Extra Stuff - For Students at the Temple

Here is some extra resources related to things I spoke about at the Temple recently.  If you are eager enough to have looked up this page, you may get something out of this.

Level 3
Here is the four ( + 1) element stupa I spoke of (ground, water, fire, wind + emptiness).  The one on the right is recently made and standing in front of a Buddhist temple.  The one on the left is from the early 17th century.  These stupas are called Five Ring Towers ().

Here's the poem I spoke of at the lesson.
It is a sonnet about impermanence by Shelley.

OZYMANDIAS
I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert.
Near them on the sand, Half sunk, a shatter'd visage lies,
whose frown And wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamp'd on these lifeless things,
The hand that mock'd them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear:
"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains: round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

Teaching Schedule

Doing level 2 and 3 at the moment.  It is really important that you do the reading before the class.  Class is not  mere recap of the book but an addition and a chance to ask questions about the material.
